It is very easy to drive with a rental car to my home. From Hilo: Make your way to Hwy 11 South. Go approximately 5.8 miles (measured from Airport Rd / Hwy 11) to the Keaau/Pahoa turn Off (Make sure your are in the extreme LEFT lane to make this turn) Stay on this road all the way into Pahoa. From the traffic light in Pahoa go another 8.4 miles and you will see the Painted Church on your LEFT (worth a looksee during your stay) this is your sign to slow down, go another .4 mile and make a sharp LEFT turn to “Kalapana” When you get to the “T” junction - turn LEFT Proceed to the 22 mile marker, my road is directly opposite. Head Makai (towards the ocean) and you’ll find us. The last house on the left, closest to the ocean. There is parking in my driveway or along the narrow, shady lane known as Anuenue Wawae    GPS - 12-84 Anuenue Wawae Road. Pahoa, Hawaii 96778. Ma’ukele Lodge is approximately 30+ minutes from Hilo Airport.
